Gold, Lichen, Moss? I'm starting to lose my excitement over the Gold aspect of this image. The material seems to be coming up out of the ground from cracks or something? Some of this material is casting shadows. The luster is fading from the Gold idea. Whatever this material is, it seems associated with that rock?
I go back to looking at the rock.
